NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 5.06 of the By-Laws, that the Annual Meeting of CFA Society Toronto will be held on the 13th day of November 2024, at 5:30 p.m. ET, at CFA Society Toronto, 120 Adelaide Street West, Suite 2205, Toronto, ON M5H 1T1, for the following purposes:

  • To receive the Financial Statements of the Corporation for the year ended 30 June 2024 and the Auditors' report thereon
  • Appoint the auditors of the Society and authorize the directors to fix their remuneration
  • To consider, and, if thought fit, to pass, with or without amendment, a special resolution attached hereto as Schedule “A” to permit the Board to determine, by resolution of the Board, the precise number of Directors under the Articles in accordance with the By-laws;
  • To elect directors; and
  • To transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof

Members are entitled to vote online or by proxy. Members who are unable to vote online are requested to complete, date, sign and print their name on the attached Proxy and return same to the Corporate Secretary of the Corporation before the meeting at 5:00 p.m. ET on the 8th day of November 2024.
