CFA Society Toronto aims to create meaningful partnerships with local universities, colleges, and their programs through its outreach, ambassador, and sponsorship programs.

University Outreach Program

Our outreach program connects CFA^® charterholder representatives from our Society to your classroom or student event. CFA Society Toronto’s Awards and University Relations Committee has representatives available to:

Present on the CFA designation in your classroom
Act as a judge for your competition
Deliver a keynote address for your event
Participate in a speaker panel
Serve as a networking representative
Share their personal career story
Provide CFA Institute’s Ethical Decision Making Presentation

Student Ambassador Program

Do you have what it takes to become our next Awards and University Relations Student Ambassador?

CFA Society Toronto’s Student Ambassador Program strives to give post-secondary (undergraduate and graduate) finance and economics students in the GTA the opportunity to represent our university relations programming at their school.

The Student Ambassador’s role includes:

Establishing new university relations contacts
Developing new outreach opportunities
Building relationships with student organizations
Assisting in the coordination or related partnership events

University Sponsorship Program

Do you need sponsorship for your finance or economic event?

CFA Society Toronto has two sponsorship cycles a year for university and college finance departments and student coordinated events. CFA Society Toronto has previously sponsored competitions, conferences, lunch & learns, networking events, seminars, workshops, and more.

Fall/Winter Cycle - For events taking place September - December 2024
Winter/Spring Cycle - For events taking place January - June 2025

Applications have now closed.
Students with events that have been selected to receive sponsorship for the Fall/Winter Cycle have been contacted. Students with events selected to receive sponsorship for the Winter/Spring Cycle will be contacted in December.

CFA Society Toronto Undergraduate Finance & Economics Awards

This award recognizes third and fourth year undergraduate finance or economic students in Ontario who have demonstrated excellence in academics and extracurricular activities. Read more

The Research Challenge is a global equity written and oral research competition among student teams from the world’s top university business and finance programs.
