How do your findings and/or methodology apply to Canada’s investment landscape? Are there implications for Canadian financial institutions, policies, or industry practices?
SECTION D: JUDGING CRITERIA QUESTIONS

Please briefly address each of the following prompts. These questions reflect what our judges look for in both the preliminary and final rounds of evaluation.

How does your paper introduce an innovative topic or new way of thinking? In what ways can it add value by improving performance, decision-making, or awareness?
Discuss the data sources used. Are they reputable, multiple, and robust enough for reliable conclusions?
Explain how you handled missing data and whether you reconciled the total possible sample with the final sample used.
Describe the econometric or quantitative methods used (e.g., cluster analysis, OLS, fixed effects). Were these methods appropriate for your research question?
Has this topic been extensively researched before, or does your paper offer a new angle?
Were your hypotheses formed prior to reviewing the data (i.e., do they pass the HARK test)? Explain your approach to hypothesis generation and testing.
