COVID-19 Update

As you know we have been monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely. Given ongoing developments with regards to the COVID-19 outbreak and WHO announcements of March 11, 2020 CFA Society Toronto is taking additional measures to do all we can to manage the safety of our members, stakeholders and staff. Effective immediately, we are cancelling in-person events for March and April regardless of group size. Additionally, we are restricting all future internal and external meetings to teleconference until further notice. This includes all volunteer committee meetings converted by staff to teleconference.  Please watch your calendars for updates on these meetings.

If planning allows, we will strive to increase our usage of webinars and webcasts so that we can offer opportunities for continued collaboration and learning opportunities. Our website will always have the most up to date scheduling information, so please check our calendar on a regular basis.

We stand by our mission and commitment to help you reach your professional goals with the full understanding that the Coronavirus and concurrent market volatility is presently weighing heavily on the minds of members and colleagues.

We will continue to update you on the Society’s status. Thank you for your understanding and support during these next few weeks and perhaps months as we navigate this situation together.

Sincerely,
The Board Executive Committee of CFA Society Toronto

The Media Contact Directory is a comprehensive guide of our members that gives you direct access to investment industry experts within the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.

The directory consists of members who have had their CFA charter for more than five years and have areas of expertise that they are willing to share by accepting phone calls or taking part in media interviews. We have also added a new section for members who have had their charters for three to five years. There are over 25 investment-related areas showcased in the directory.
