This award recognizes outstanding CFA Charterholders who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to their local society and the investment community at large. The award celebrates and encourages the development of future leaders within the CFA Society community. Recipients are recognized not just for their current achievements but for their potential to grow into a more prominent leadership role, demonstrated through their actions, mindset, and impact.

About Sara Loriot, CFA:
Since earning her CFA charter in 2018, Sara has been a highly engaged member and volunteer leader within CFA Society Toronto. Her contributions include:
- Leadership Roles: Starting as a project volunteer in 2019, Sara joined the Industry Relations & Corporate Governance (IRCG) Committee in 2022. Recognized for her leadership potential, she was nominated as Vice Chair in her second year on the committee.
- Annual Women in Finance (AWIF) Conference: As Chair of the task force for the 3rd AWIF Conference, Sara transformed the event from a two-hour session into a half-day conference titled "Bridges to Boldness." Under her leadership, the event achieved:
- 110% Increase in Attendance: Attracting 124 attendees, up from 59 the previous year.
- Significant Sponsorship Support: Generating $25,900 from three sponsors.
- Enhanced Diversity and Inclusion: Introducing themes of allyship and inclusivity, the conference featured diverse speakers and included a successful speed mentoring session.
- Expanded Reach: Increasing the society's social media impressions by over 25,000 organically.
- Mentorship and Advocacy: Actively involved in CFA Society Toronto’s mentorship program, Sara has served as both a protégé and a mentor, fostering growth and development within the society.
