Due to COVID19 pandemic restriction in Toronto, CFA Institute has determined that it cannot administer the December 2020 exams. We know how deeply disappointing this news is and we are sorry that your study and exam plans must be placed on hold again. That is why we have placed a deferral option in your account so that you may decide how to proceed and are also offering you a refund option.
Here are your options.
• Transfer your exam to a computer-based administration in 2021. To transfer to a 2021 exam, log in to your account to select a new exam date. This single deferral option will remain in your account through the end of the registration deadline for all 2021 exams.
o Level I Exams are scheduled for February, May, August and November
o Level II exams are scheduled for May and August
o Level III exams are scheduled for May and November
• As a twice deferred candidate, you are eligible for a refund. If you choose not to re-schedule your exam, refund requests will be accepted between 7 December - 21 December. The refund amount will be all the fees you originally paid for your June 2020 exam. If you choose the refund option, you don't need to take any action now. We will message you with details on how to initiate your refund request before that date."
Please note: All available December test centers are at full capacity. There is NO option to change your test center for the December exam. In consideration of logistical and safety requirements, we cannot make accommodations of any kind.
