Ritesh Patel, CFA, is an Advisory at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and a CFA Society Toronto volunteer.

"My motivation for becoming a volunteer was to learn new things, help others and make a positive impact.  Volunteering at the CFA Society of Toronto enables me to network with skilled professionals and provides opportunities to contribute to important discussions within the investment industry. 

I have particularly enjoyed my time as a volunteer within the Mentorship program as supporting others in achieving their development goals has been a meaningful and enjoyable experience for me. 

Collaborating with and learning from my peers on the Industry Relations and Corporate Governance Committee has also been fulfilling to my own professional growth."
