As the second largest CFA society in the world, Toronto CFA Society plays an important role in promoting high-quality research on pertinent issues that will bring fresh insights and wisdom to the industry’s body of knowledge. Its Award program plays an important role in integrating the work of academic thought leaders with professional practitioners.

In addition to the scholarship program (annual deadline December 1), the society offers an undergraduate award which recognizes the achievements of promising CFA candidates. Currently four $2,500 awards are given to students in their 3rd year of a finance or economics program who have a minimum 3.0 GPA (or equivalent).
