President’s Message

AS WE WORK TOWARD THE END OF 2015, we should take some time in our busy schedules to reflect on our professional achievements over the past year.

This past October, CFA Society Toronto hosted its 58th Annual Forecast Dinner. We had the opportunity to hear from three keynote speakers: Ed Clark, Chris Young, CFA, and John Mauldin. All three shared their points of view on some very interesting topics, which encouraged some great discussions among our members and guests later in the evening. With 2016 just around the corner, we should all be looking ahead and setting resolutions aimed toward professional growth.

At CFA Society Toronto, we’re getting ready to launch into next year with our members’ professional development in mind. From our member surveys, we’ve gained better insight into what members wish to see from the Society. Moving forward into the new year, we’ll reinforce our dedication to providing our members with high-quality, relevant programs to fit the needs of a rapidly evolving industry. We’ll continue to build and maintain our networks of the city’s leading financial professionals and provide opportunities for our members to gather and discuss the future of the industry. We’re also constantly seeking opportunities to build strategic partnerships with our Affinity Members Program to bring greater value to all our members.

We have increased our efforts this past year to develop stronger media relations in order to further promote CFA Toronto Society’s core values, and we’ll continue to build our public awareness in the upcoming year through various media channels.

On behalf of CFA Society Toronto, I would like to extend best wishes to you and your family during the holiday season.
