Mentorship

This year the Toronto CFA Society mentorship program expanded and formed a committee of seven individuals. During the year, the committee received over 50 protégé applications and was able to make 23 protégé-mentor pairings. Unfortunately there were more protégé than mentor applications; however, the committee also works to create opportunities for the applicants who were not paired. In addition to the structured program, there will also be a resumé-writing workshop, four to six “a day in the life of…” workshops, as well as a speed mentoring session that will be available to everyone who applied to the program. This year’s program runs from April 2009 to April 2010. Keep an eye out early next year for the next pairing season.
