I AM WRITING THIS LETTER as one of my first opportunities to connect with you, my fellow members, formally in my new role as CEO of CFA Society Toronto. I am thrilled to step into this position and would like to thank the Board, volunteers, membership, and staff for all their efforts and for making me feel so welcome over the past few months.

I am proud of my affiliation and membership with CFA Society Toronto, previously as a volunteer, Board Chair, and member and now as CEO. Together, we are part of the largest CFA society in the world, with more than 11,000 members. Our collective objectives are to promote high ethical standards within the financial community and to make valuable contributions toward a trustworthy financial community.

This is an ideal role for me, as I can leverage my experience in the asset and wealth management industry and focus on continuing to deliver outstanding member value. Working collaboratively with our talented team and the Board, I would like to increase the depth and quality of our interactions with you. I am also passionate about harnessing the power of digital technology, and I look forward to using this as a means of reaching out to our members and other key partners. I want to thank Sue Lemon, who has been an inspirational role model for me. The impact she has made on CFA Society Toronto over the past nine years has been outstanding, and I hope to continue in the spirit of her success. I am grateful for her support during this transition as she passes on the leadership baton.

I look forward to working alongside our talented Board of Directors and newly elected Chair, Mari Jensen, whose experience and insights will add to our strength as we focus on our strategic objectives to best serve our members and drive toward greater heights. Our Board, staff, and volunteers are all diligently building upon the grand achievements of CFA Society Toronto.
