JUNE IS FINALLY HERE, and as we approach the summer season, it brings along the much anticipated warm weather, weekend getaways, and holiday time. June also closes off our 2017/18 fiscal year—and what a year it has been.

In the past 12 months, Society staff and volunteers have dedicated many hours in preparing some of the industry’s highest calibre programming. One of our top priorities at the Society is to offer our members meaningful learning and networking opportunities—and we truly hope we’ve achieved this. It was a great pleasure to see and speak with many of you who were actively engaged in discussions and interacting with fellow practitioners at our various events over the past fiscal year.

We’ve enhanced our “online” member services by improving the Society’s ability to connect with our membership using more convenient, two-way lines of communication through our website, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Google Review, and Google Q&A. We’ve also integrated our website with our new customer relationship management tool, which will enable us to understand your professional and career development needs better, and allow us to provide you with more timely and relevant resources.

We’ve greatly expanded our digital footprint in the financial community through various campaigns that were strategically positioned alongside CFA Institute’s global brand campaign. As a result, we’ve been able to amplify the strength of our messaging to generate greater awareness and interest in the CFA designation within our professional community.

In closing, we’re excited about taking on new challenges to further enhance member services. We plan to continue to be actively involved in shaping policy and upholding practices that strengthen investor confidence and market integrity while highlighting the CFA designation as the gold standard within our profession.
