Mandate

The Governance and Nominations Committee is responsible for identifying and recommending to the Board qualified Board and Committee candidates. The Committee reviews the skills composition and needs of the Board and recommends governance policies and practices.

Responsibilities

The Committee establishes criteria for the selection and appointment of Board members, Officers, and Committee members, and oversees the annual Board evaluation process. It also reviews and recommends governance best practices to ensure the Society operates with transparency, accountability, and in alignment with its mission and bylaws.
